I was born in San Bernardino in 1960. Back then, we still had orange groves. And there was no such thing as a bicycle helmet.
I am a Harvard dropout. I spent four years working as an audio engineer in Boston. I became very successful; the audio engineering world was my oyster. Then I screwed up - I went back to school. If I'd only kept working, I'd be far ahead financially. Assuming I didn't burn out. Or get sick of life on the road.
I love my work as an academic ER doc, though. So it all worked out well!
